Honesty Pants

this morning i told god that i believed he is Jehovah Jirah -- my Provider.
it's 2:36 p.m.
i just opened a regret email from a literary journal in Seattle.
i applied for a summer internship there and didn't get it.

2:37 p.m.
i still believe, even moreso, that God is who He says He is.
He will provide something for me this summer - an opportunity that is not only amazing but also that will fit my strengths and my passions.

I'm asking God to flex His muscles on this one.

The one who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it.
