Honesty Pants

Wrote this after a frustrating afternoon. I want to work with at-risk women & sex trafficking victims - yet, this has unfortunately come with some resistence from others who see my future panning out differently. I had to run back to Scripture to remind myself that obedience rarely appears practical to society. Practicality isn't the point of this life. Obedience is. I want to surround myself with people who push me to seek the former (God's calling) over the latter (my comfort). Comfort is perhaps America's greatest idol. Here's to faithfully following a radical Jesus -- No matter what.
