wonderful conversations with real professors
who know all about the place you are going on spring break
and who still knows what it is like
to be a college student.
laughter. so much laughter.
so much transparency.
so much understanding.
so much truth.
I do not want to forget the goodness of this day.
I do not want to forget how the Lord answered months of prayer
with a spectacular Houston-based phone call.
Texas, I do not know what it is, but you must love me so much that
you won't ever let me go.
I do not really care about school anymore
with spring break my next turn
and graduation my next stop.
so I slept in today
because somewhere in the world, it was still my birthday.
