Honesty Pants

i love
the way the moon plays hide and go seek with me while I drive to home from home.
It forgets that its bright reflection gives itself away
i love
the way the sun sets with the warm colors of the rainbow. my god painted that. just for me. tonight. he knew my anxious heart needed it.
i love
the way gazebos echo when your friends pray over you. the kind of sound that is actually an applause for transparency and honesty and struggle.
i love
the strong open cage my dad's hugs are. i am a dove coming home every time we embrace.
i love
the way my mom's arms fit around my waist. she is so tiny. but so strong.
i love
being reminded of sacrifice. and how much others have sacrificed for me. I don't thank them nearly enough. I don't think Christ enough.
